The new year is around the corner and so is the 9th anniversary of Marine Parents. We're celebrating with a new logo and a new look!
The new logo was created for us by a volunteer, Mallory, who is also a graphic arts student at the University of Missouri. She did an amazing job and we're proud to begin sporting our new look.
Our trademark tagline "a place to connect and share" is well represented by the new logo: an image of three people connecting with one another. The text for Marine Parents is bolder and easier to read. The vibrant gold and red colors embrace the traditional colors of the Marine Corps and the Marine Corps flag.
The symbolism of our new logo is open for each person to interpret independently as he or she feels the impact of the organization whether as Marine, family member, or supporter. Our new Marine Family Network (MFN) gives you a true place to connect and share. For some, those connections are not only physical embraces of caring, but a representation of the infinite relationships being created by Marine Corps families. While MFN may be a virtual world, the relationships we have with one another are very real; the support of our outreach programs is very real. Likewise, infinity is virtual yet real.
We'll be proudly migrating to the new logo and a new look over the next few months and develop variations of the logo for our outreach programs, informational websites, social networking communities and our store, The Eagle, Globe and Anchor (E.G.A. Store).
We look forward to continuing the good works of supporting families and Marines through the many outreach programs of Marine Parents.
